Glacial geomorphology
From GeoClasses
20,000 years ago much of North America and large parts of Eurasia were covered in a thick (over 1 km) layer of ice. Although the ice has melted the landforms left by the glaciers remain, and the Earth itself is still rebounding from effects of these large ice sheets.
