How to get an A in Landforms

For most students ‘Landforms’ is a new subject for them, so a lot of the information is new and can be confusing. While the easiest way to get an A in the class is to know the material here are some helpful hints that will help you to get that perfect 4.0 in this class.


• Show up for class. If you fail to show up for class make sure you go online and check to see what was done in class. If a quiz was giving then take it and hand it in on the next day of class.


• You may not need the textbook because the website covers almost all the class material.


• Pay attention to what is said in lecture, because there is a lot of information on the website.

o Some of the information is more important and the important topics will be discussed in class.


• Do not miss the day before an exam because the material that will be on the exam will be reviewed.


• When studying for a test pay special attention to the quizzes that were giving because there is a good chance that these questions will be on your exam.


• When you are unsure about something, ask.


• Show up for class on time and stay until class is over.

o A lot of important information is giving during the first and last minutes of class.


• Answer questions that are asked in class, Urbano does not just talk to hear himself.


• If you fall behind make sure you talk to Urbano because he will not know you are struggling until it’s too late (after a test).


• If you do not do well on tests talk to Urbano on the first day of class and workout a different way to be graded on lecture material.


• Be able to explain the main concepts of the class, not just know their definitions.


• Urbano is a very flexible professor so talk to him about any problem you have.(Very True).


• Do well on your project because this is a major place to 'Shine' and show your knowledge of material.


• Do not always trust everything you read on ‘Wikipeda’ because the information may not always be credible.
