Journal entries for Unit 3

Starting after Monday's class, keep a weather log using the regular journal entry website. Once a day, look at the sky, step outside and pay attention to the temperature and humidity, cloud cover, any precipitation, and record it in the weather log.

This means you will fill in the weather log section at the top. You only need to add text in the additional comments box if you want to make any additional comments about the weather. For example, if the weather changed abruptly during the day or if there was a particularly impressive storm or any other strange observation you might have made.

At the end of Unit 3 you should have recorded 21 entries in the weather log. If you can't get to a computer every day then keep a paper copy so you can back enter the information - the website has been set so that you can log up to 5 days previous.

If you are interested in earning any extra credit, one opportunity will be given related to this weather log, involving interpreting the observations you made. Instructions for the extra credit will be made available a little later.
