That sounds really interesting. I have heard people doing such stuff in the Dept of Theology/Psychiatry but to model this in the Earth Sciences Department would be great! I'm eagerly waiting to see your project coming up. Best Wishes. Mmihir

 How will you get your data?  This is very interesting and alien to me, I can't wait to see the results.  Chuck 

while I am initiially confused about how to model random people walking around in random directions, what is the benefiet to the outcome? Now, if you were mapping out people leaving a stadium after a game, to where they were all going to the same place(parking lot) but had different ways to get there from their seats in the stadium, and use the model to design better ways of managing mass pedestrian movements. Or not. dneilans
