Description regarding the model to prepare in the class project

I'm thinking of preparing a model for the evaluation of gully system. What are the parameters require to define this problem and how to approach this problem are the big question in front of me. Most probably i'll try to model by starting with the gully erosion with it's initial stages and end up with the stablization of gully system.
